Scott Mahn

Scott has over 10 years experience working in both public and private practice across numerous finance roles. As Equicapita’s controller, Scott has responsibility over the fund’s accounting and finance functions while also providing financial guidance to the individual portfolio companies. Prior to joining Equicapita, Scott was a Senior Finance Manager at a large transportation and logistics firm where he gained extensive experience leading full cycle accounting, financial systems and external reporting processes with a focus on process improvement initiatives and identifying and driving efficiencies. Scott obtained his CPA, CA designation (2012) while at Ernst & Young where he worked on both public and private clients within the technology, insurance and manufacturing sectors and also holds a CPA (Illinois) designation (2014) and Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.”
